Role Overview
The Senior Manager, Business Development is responsible for driving new revenue through strategic prospecting, relationship development, and consultative selling. This role is weighted primarily toward general experiential marketing solutions, with college, youth, and Gen Z programming as a strong differentiator.
The ideal candidate brings a strong network and a proven track record selling experiential or integrated marketing programs, thrives in a fast-paced agency environment, and understands how brands authentically engage younger consumers through culture, campuses, and live experiences.
Key Responsibilities
• Own and drive new business development efforts from prospecting through close • Identify, qualify, and pursue new leads across CPG, beauty, health & wellness, tech, and entertainment categories • Leverage existing and past client relationships to generate new opportunities • Sell experiential marketing solutions, with an emphasis on youth, Gen Z, and college-related programming • Support the sale and growth of college media programming through Newbridge’s platform partners • Collaborate with internal strategy, experiential, and account teams to develop compelling proposals and pitches • Lead client presentations and contribute to RFP responses • Maintain an active sales pipeline and consistently meet or exceed revenue targets • Track sales activity, forecast revenue, and contribute to business development reporting and insights • Stay current on industry trends, cultural moments, and the competitive landscape to inform sales strategy • Represent Newbridge Marketing at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities • Contribute strategic ideas to expand service offerings and go-to-market approach • Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field • 5–7+ years of experience in business development or sales within an experiential marketing or agency environment • Proven experience selling experiential, integrated, or live marketing programs • Existing relationships and/or client experience within CPG, beauty, health & wellness, tech, or entertainment categories • Strong understanding of youth, college, or Gen Z marketing ecosystems • Demonstrated ability to prospect, conduct cold outreach, and close new business • Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals • Highly organized with strong pipeline management and analytical skills • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities • Self-starter who thrives both independently and in a collaborative team environment
Preferred Experience
• Experience selling campus-based or youth-focused experiential programs • Brand-side experience • Familiarity with sponsorships, tours, pop-ups, festivals, or cultural activations • CRM experience (HubSpot or similar) • Comfort working in a remote or hybrid environment
Compensation
$80,000 to $90,000 plus bonus eligibility and comprehensive benefits package
